Michael Watkins is the founder and owner of Highburn Studios. Mike's been working around the comic industry for years, mostly pushing his creation GUARDIANS which he writes, illustrates, and colors. Outside of comics, Mike is an avid Martial Artist, studying Hak Dari Shon Hap Ki Do. He also enjoys playing guitar, and recently obtained his Associates Degree in Visual Art. His credits include: Indiana Jones (Steve Scott/ Dark Horse, Lucasfilms), Outlaw Territory (Image Comics), Sonic The Hedgehog (Archie Comics), The Dark Knight (Steve Scott/ Warner Bros.), Guardians (Dakuwaka Publishing), Femme Noir (Ape Entertainment), Wizard Magazine, E-Man (Digital Webbing), Iron Sirens (Digital Webbing), BloodRayne (Digital Webbing), Hero Complex (Dark Horse Strip Search Anthology), Black Ice (Comic Mix), Scratch (Highburn Studios), The Girl Next Door (Midnight Horizon Comics), Tribulations (Midnight Horizon Comics/Highburn Studios), Ruthless (Dimestore Productions/Midnight Horizon Comics), Expulse (Midnight Horizon Comics), Slayer (Midnight Horizon Comics), B.O.T.S. Lyle Pollard is a talented penciller who has been drawing for longer than he is willing to admit, and would have probably had a much wealthier existence if he had played basketball or baseball or something. Fortunately for the comics community, he sucked at all sports, and he is now working on his creation TRIBULATIONS.
Lyle lives in Coats, NC (end of the world, and take a left) with his beautiful and supporting wife, Dana,
their daughter Gwen, and Race Dog, who is cute, but can be a pain in the ass.
Lyle is also proud of his futon on which the late, great Mike Watkins once slept. His credits include: Tribulations (Midnight Horizon Comics/Highburn Studios), Guardians (Midnight Horizon Comics/Highburn Studios/Dakuwaka Publishing), Femme Noir (Ape Entertainment), E-Man (Digital Webbing), Black Ice (Comic Mix), B.O.T.S. (Portal Productions), Slayer (Midnight Horizon Comics), Expulse (Midnight Horizon Comics), Ruthless (Dimestore Productions/Midnight Horizon Comics), Cookies (Midnight Horizon Comics), Dressed To Kill (Highburn Studios), and Legend of the Guitar Hero (Originew Animation Studio).

Kenny Keen is the creator of SLAYER, EXPULSE,
RUTHLESS and 100's of other unfinished ideas. He has contributed short stories,
pin-ups, and covers to numerous small press publications over the years.
Kenny is also the creator and owner of Midnight Horizon Comics, a partner
company along side Highburn. He is also the letterer for TRIBULATIONS, DRESSED TO KILL, and GUARDIANS all from Highburn Studios. When Kenny is not working on a project he can be found studying the Korean Martial Art Hap Ki Do. If a lazy streak hits him you will find him playing the PlayStation, watching movies, or fighting with his kids over the last doughnut. His credits include: Slayer (Midnight Horizon
Comics), Expulse (Midnight Horizon Comics), Ruthless (Dimestore
Productions/Midnight Horizon
Comics, Dressed To Kill (Highburn Studios), Guardians (Dakuwaka

Ryan Eldridge is a writer based in Atlanta Georgia. After a lifetime of
love for comic books and the superhero genre, Ryan finally decided to
pick up the pen and start writing his own comics. Then he got a
cramp. So, he put the pen down and switched writing on his computer
instead. The increase in efficiency has led him to consider this what he
calls his "best idea ever".
Ryan is the writer of the new NOVA CITY STORIES line of mini-books coming
soon from Highburn Studios.
His credits include: Nova City Stories (Midnight Horizon Comics). |
